  3. We will guarantee housing in our residence halls. Any Marymount California student who applies to live in our residence halls will be guaranteed a placement through June 15, and will be offered housing on a space-available basis after.
  4. We will accept your transfer credit and provide a path for you to graduate on time. In addition to having more than 50 majors to choose from, the University of La Verne offers students the ability to create their own degree path and will offer 1:1 advising support.

University of La Verne will waive the application fee, the personal statement, and the recommendation letter otherwise required. Students should submit an application and their unofficial high school transcripts for their initial acceptance. Final, official high school transcripts will be required after graduation. Incoming freshmen will be considered for University of La Verne scholarships according to their academic merit and University of La Verne grants according to their demonstrated financial need through the FAFSA form or the California Dream Act Application.

Our Office of Financial Aid will offer you a scholarship that ensures you pay the same tuition at the University of La Verne for the 2022-23 academic year, and you’ll receive that scholarship each year you enroll through the completion of your undergraduate degree. All scholarship offers are subject to the policies in our Catalog.

Students will be automatically considered for the Community Engagement Grant, a scholarship ranging from $2,000 to $4,000 per year, designed to support living expenses and create a sense of community. Students who apply for housing after June 15, 2022 will be considered on a space-available basis.

You’ll work with an advisor 1:1 to build a plan to apply your Marymount California credits earned towards your University of La Verne degree.
