Programming/Events

The Career Center provides the following services and programming for industry partners virtually and in-person.  Please review the list of offerings below and utilize Handshake to reserve your participation. All partners must be registered via Handshake.

Workshops

The Career Center hosts workshop serious in a group setting to provide information about a variety of career-related topics in order to gain industry insight from career counselors and employers. Topics vary by semester. Visit Handshake to register for the upcoming series.

Tabling

The Career Center provides opportunities for employers to reserve a spot in the campus center or in various locations on campus to recruit students and alumni and share information about their company/organization to share information and company  while building community presence.

On-Campus Interviews (OCI)

OCI is a formalized recruitment program that provides employers and students a 1:1 experience to connect hiring needs. The Career Center provides the interview facility, advertises job listings via Handshake, and assists in coordinating company onsite visits with selected candidates. Employers and students can visit Handshake to register.

Career/Networking Mixers

Career/Internship fairs are large-scale recruitment events to connect students with potential employers and organizations in an exhibitor-style setting. These events are typically industry/topic-specific and can benefit students who wish to explore career and internship opportunities in their related field of interests or explore new professional opportunities.

Graduate School Fairs

The Graduate and Professional School Fair is a one-day event bringing the campus community together with company representatives from area Graduate Schools and Professional Programs, and well as Graduate Admissions Assistants from a variety of for-profit businesses (Kaplan, Princeton Review, GMAT, etc.). Career Fairs

A career fair is an event that gives students and employers a chance to meet one another, establish professional relationships, and discuss potential job and/or internship opportunities. Many employers from a variety of industries attend.
