Programming/Events

The Career Center works in partnership with employers, academic departments, and colleges to align programming and recruitment activities to best serve all stakeholders. Students are encouraged to utilize these opportunities to develop professional networks and gain a competitive edge for employment.


Service Delivery | Spring 2022

All workshops will be delivered virtually with no limit to the number of participants. The schedule for Spring 2022 offerings will be posted and available to the student community prior to the start of the school year.

Students are encouraged to pre-register for upcoming workshops and specialized Spring 2022 events via Handshake and departmental planning. 


Workshops

The Career Center hosts virtual workshops to provide information about a variety of career-related topics in order to gain industry insight from career counselors and employers. Topics vary by semester. Visit Handshake to register for the upcoming series.

Tabling

The Career Center provides promotion opportunities for employers online to recruit students and alumni and share information about their company/organization while building community presence.

On-Campus Interviews (OCI)

OCI will be a formalized virtual recruitment program that provides employers and students a 1:1 experience to connect hiring needs. The Career Center assists in company visit with selected candidates.  Employers and students can visit Handshake to register.

Career/Networking Mixers

The Career Center will host virtual recruitment events to connect students with potential employers and organizations. These events are typically industry/topic-specific and can benefit students who wish to explore career and internship opportunities in their related field of interests or explore new professional opportunities.
