The Health and Wellness Fee ($300) at the University of La Verne supports several essential services and new enhancements aimed at student well-being:
- Student Health Center
- Counseling & Psychological Services
- The Randall Lewis Center for Well-being and Research
This fee ensures that students have access to comprehensive health and mental health resources throughout their academic journey at the University of La Verne.
New Enhancements for 24-25 Academic Year:
- Extended Hours and Programs at Lewis Center: The Randall Lewis Center will have extended hours and additional programs to better accommodate student schedules.
- Additional Mental Health Services: The university has partnered with TimelyCare (Tele-Counseling) to offer the following additional services (to access these services go TimelyCare (Tele-Counseling) :
- Virtual Crisis Counseling (TalkNow): Provides 24/7 access to on-demand emotional support.
- Virtual Counseling Sessions: Students can now schedule virtual counseling sessions at any time, including after hours and during breaks, with a diverse group of professional therapists.
- Self-Care Content: Students have access to 24/7 self-care tools and resources, such as meditation and yoga sessions, helpful videos, and expert articles.
Note:
- The Health and Wellness Fee is mandatory for all full-time undergraduate students and is not waivable.
- It is distinct from the Student Health Insurance Requirement and Program.
