Transgender care is healthcare. The SHC provides a welcoming environment to all students to receive holistic preventive primary care, medication maintenance, specialty referrals, while understanding personal goals.
ULV providers support gender affirmation by being compassionate in the delivery of evidence-based services. Thisincludes maintenance of pre-prescribed medication by ordering, dispensing or administering the medication and routinefollow up care. Risk assessment and sexually transmitted disease monitoring and treatment as needed. Assistance with hormonal therapy and specialist referrals as needed. The SHC staff offers inclusive gender reproductive healthcare management with contraception and reproductive care.
