Vista La Verne Residence Hall
Vista La Verne is a contemporary residence hall ideal for students wanting more independent and private living. Vista is composed of suite-style units that houses single and double options, with each space inside having its own bathroom. All units include a central lounge, wireless and landline Internet access, and a flat screen TV. The building includes a shared kitchen, laundry facilities and game room. Oaks Residence Hall
Oaks is ideal for students interested in making friends and developing a strong sense of community! This set of halls boasts small and quaint community environments, where working together and getting to know each other is the norm. Offering single, double, and triple occupancy rooms, each floor consists of a kitchenette and lounge with a flat screen TV. Click here for more information on Oaks.
Citrus Residence Hall
Citrus Hall is located in the heart of campus to sustain a student-centered community. There is a natural connection that embraces the activity and energy happening inside and outside the building. The building is a traditional style residence hall with double and triple occupancy options. Each floor has three lounges and two study rooms. Citrus Hall houses first-year students, with a limited option for continuing students. This is the perfect place to meet new people and build community. HOW TO APPLY
Step 1: Make Sure you’re Eligible
Before applying for Housing at the University of La Verne, it is important that you have been approved by Citrus College International Student Center (isc@citruscollege.edu). Approval requires that you have paid the Citrus College Application Deposit and have informed them of your desire to participate in this program.
Step 2: Apply for Housing

Log into LaVerne Portal. Click on “Housing” under Student Resources section. Next, click on Student Services and Financial Aid” to find the link “Apply for Housing”. For first time users, please follow instructions under “Login for New Users” to access the portal
Complete Application. The application consists of THREE (3) main steps:
- Select the current application period; complete background information; indicate building/room type preferences; and electronically sign the Housing License Agreement (also known as the contract), select meal plan, and answer lifestyle/roommate questionnaires.
- Pay the non-refundable $125.00 housing application/activity fee. (Different from tuition fee to University) (Application considered “complete” once payment is submitted)
- Complete optional pages of application, such as signing up for renter’s insurance.
Step 3: Make Financial Arrangements
Once a student has applied and has been assigned a room and a meal plan (based on availability and choices), the student will have the following charges posted on their ULV student account:
- Housing Application Fee
- Room costs for the semester (room assignment). Room charges are assessed every semester.
- Board (i.e. meal plan) charges (based on meal plan selected). Board charges are assessed every semester.
- ASULV Activity Fee ($200) per semester
Student will need to contact the ULV Office of Student Accounts (STUACCTS@laverne.edu) to pay for fees and/or make financial arrangements for them. When you contact Student Accounts let them know you are part of the Citrus College Program. Once a student’s financial arrangements have been made, the student is set for move-in at the designated move-in date. Housing will email the student with move-in information.
NOTE – Students will not be allowed to move-in unless they have made financial arrangements.

Meal / Board Plan
All Students living on campus MUST have a meal plan. The minimum plan for Citrus College Students is an 8-meal plan.

Number of meals correspond to the number of meals a student can eat at the dining hall during a week. Meals reset every week.
Leo Dollars are “points” students can use at Barbara’s Place (Coffee Shop) or at the Spot (Dining Hall) in addition to the meals per week.

Transportation Information
Foothill Transit and LA Metro have teamed up with Citrus College to bring you the GoPass. The GoPass gets you unlimited free rides on even more buses. Students can ride Foothill Transit local and Silver Streak lines AND Metro bus and rail, Santa Monica Big Blue Bus, Long Beach Transit, and other participating agencies. Personal Cars & Parking – Students can drive their personal vehicles to and from Citrus College and the University of La Verne. Citrus College and University of La Verne are approximately 8 miles from each other and are readily accessible to each other via the 210 freeway. Free parking passes for University of La Verne are available for residents. If you’re interested in getting a parking pass, contact the Campus Safety Office at security@laverne.edu. The Campus Safety Office located on the 1st floor of the parking structure.

Campus Activities
The Campus Activities Board (CAB) at the University of La Verne is a student organization, which serves as the largest student program board on campus, coordinating a variety of programs annually.
