Why is the University of La Verne conducting a campus climate study?
The University of La Verne is dedicated to fostering a respectful, inclusive university community, and improving the working and learning environment at all University of La Verne campuses. This campus climate study will create a baseline of data that will help us better understand how members of the university community relate to one another on a daily basis. Armed with this knowledge, we can then reinforce what is working and address what is not.
| Who participates in the study? | Students, faculty, and staff at all University of La Verne campuses are invited to participate in the campus study for diversity and inclusivity. With a goal to make the University of La Verne a model for diversity and inclusion in higher education, we encourage the La Verne community to take part in the survey. |
| When will surveys be administered? | Surveys for Undergraduate and Graduate Students will be online and open from April 21, 2014 to May 19, 2014. During this period you will receive periodic email with a survey link inviting you to participate in the study. The Faculty and Staff surveys will be administered in Spring 2015. |
| Who is sponsoring this survey? | This study is sponsored by the Office of Diversity and Inclusivity and Office of Institutional Research. |
| How long will it take to complete the survey? | The surveys are comprehensive and will take about 20 minutes to complete. |
| How can I win University of La Verne gear? | Students who complete their survey are eligible for drawings to receive a collection of University of La Verne gear (such as clothing, mugs, water bottles, photo frames, etc.) worth at least $100! |
