Leos on Parade

Leos roared through this year’s La Verne Fourth of July Parade celebration in a series of vehicles promoting the University of La Verne’s 125th anniversary. La Verne President Devorah Lieberman, Roger Auerbach, and former La Verne Mayor Jon Blickenstaff ’66 greeted crowds from a vintage automobile. The spirited anniversary float ridden by students, faculty, and staff, made its way through the city with a “Generations of Transforming Lives” message on the side.

According to city council member and University staff member Robin Carder, the parade is a 50-year old La Verne community tradition.
