Professor Russell Muir was awarded the Athletic Training Educator Award during the 13th annual California Athletic Trainers’ Association (CATA) Annual Meeting and Clinical Symposium in Sacramento, California over the weekend.

Duncan, who came to the university in 2002 and currently serves as chair of the university’s Master of Science in Leadership and Management program, brings a wealth of experience in health care and management.
Those programs include Dental Assistant, Home Health Aide, Medical Assistant, Medical Records Specialist, Patient Care Technician, and Phlebotomy Technician.
In addition to moderating a roundtable, Lieberman will present awards for Hospital CEO/President of the Year and Health System Executive of the Year.
The new online options will be offered in addition to the on-campus options, providing students with flexible and convenient pathways to pursue degrees in these high-demand fields.
The university is proud to announce the opening of its College of Health and Community Well-Being—the university’s fifth college—which will be a hub for high-quality education, research, and innovation in health and the social determinants of health.
The Adventist Health White Memorial Scholarship Fund will support students in the university’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing: RN to BSN program, which is now accepting applications for fall 2022 and spring 2023.
The gift will fund costs related to establishing the new college and its nursing program. In appreciation, the university will name its new nursing program in honor of John A. Ware.
