Students enrolled in the University of La Verne’s Master of Science in Physician Assistant (PA) Practice program marked their coming transition from classroom to clinical education in a White Coat ceremony held December 11 in the Ann and Steve Morgan Auditorium on campus.
The second cohort of graduates in the Master of Science in Physician Assistant (PA) Practice program celebrated their accomplishments together with a ceremony in the Ann and Steve Morgan Auditorium on December 4.
The inaugural Master of Science in Athletic Training (MSAT) graduate cohort exceeded the first-time pass rate national average on their board of certification exams, placing them at an 89 percent pass rate. This brings the cohort far above the 61.6 percent national average , and of those that passed, each has secured employment.
Eleven University of La Verne students spent their summer helping share accurate information about the importance of getting the COVID-19 vaccine. They were part of the Faith in the Vaccine program, operated by Interfaith Youth Core, a nonprofit organization.
