Username: Is the first part of your student @laverne.edu Gmail Email account name (e.g. firstname.lastname)

On the LaVerne Portal log in page there is a link ‘Forgot Password’. Enter your username and answer your security questions.

  1. Log into your LaVerne Portal account.
  2. When you reach the Home page go to the Menu located on the top right Navigation Bar.
  3. Click ‘My Account’.
  4. On the left side Menu Bar click ‘Reset Password’.
  5. This will reset your La Verne Portal and Email password.

  1. Click on “MyLaVerne” at the top right of the University of La Verne home page.
  2. Click on the “MYLAVERNE/BANNER” link
  3. User ID = your Student ID Number
  4. PIN = if this is your first time logging in your PIN is your birthdate in MMDDYY, format.
  5. NOTE: if you have logged in before and do not remember your PIN, you may reset it by providing the correct answer to your security question, otherwise contact your Academic Advisor for assistance.
  6. Once you have entered the secure area, click the link “Email Information” and click the link “View your E-mail address(es)” where you can view the Person Email we have on file.
  7. To update your Personal Email click the link “Email Information” and click the link “Update your E-mail address(es)”.
  8. Next select ‘Personal Email Address’ in the drop down menu and click ‘Submit’
  9. Enter your Personal E-mail address and click ‘Submit’
  10. Your Personal E-mail should now be updated in the school’s system.
