La Verne Grants and Loans

Grants

To be eligible for consideration for La Verne grants, a student must be admitted through the Office of Undergraduate Admission at the central La Verne campus and be enrolled as a full-time student. Grants are awarded based on financial need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and the student’s high school grade point average and ACT/SAT scores ( Note: ACT or SAT test scores are not required to be eligible to receive grants through the University of La Verne). If you have earned an undergraduate degree, you are not eligible to receive federal, state, or institutional grants/scholarships.

Students admitted through the Office of Undergraduate Admission at the central La Verne Campus who are enrolled full-time, and living on-campus can also be considered for the ULV Community Engagement Grant.  The ULV Community Engagement Grant is exclusively for students living on-campus in the University of La Verne dorms, and utilizing a University of La Verne meal plan. Students whose Housing is fully covered by other grants, scholarships, or stipends, do not qualify for the Community Engagement Grant.
