If you have earned an undergraduate degree, you are not eligible to receive any institutional grants/scholarships or any federal grants..

La Verne Academic Scholarships

To be eligible for consideration for a La Verne academic scholarship, a student must be admitted through the Office of Undergraduate Admission at the central La Verne campus and be enrolled as a full-time student. Academic scholarships are not need based and are annually renewable based on full-time enrollment and satisfactory academic progress. La Verne academic scholarships are awarded to first-time college students based on high school grades in college preparatory coursework only, and ACT/SAT scores (if applicable) at the time of admission. La Verne academic scholarships are awarded to transfer students based on college GPA at the time of admission. Award requirements are available through the Office of Undergraduate Admission.

International Student Scholastic Awards

To be eligible for consideration for an International Student Scholarship Award, a student must be admitted through the Office of Undergraduate Admission at the central La Verne campus and be enrolled as a full-time student. La Verne International Student Scholastic Awards are awarded to first-time college students or to transfer students at the point of admission to La Verne. Award requirements are available through the Office of Undergraduate Admission.

Honors

Upon completion of Honors 101, eligible students from the Honors Program are able to participate in a study-away experience which combines their curricular and co-curricular experiences in Honors 102 during the subsequent spring semester. The Honors Program covers related airfare to the select study destination.

Additional La Verne Scholarship Opportunities:

Landis Scholarship is available to continuing students, registered for fall 2020, and can be applied towards tuition and fees. The criteria for the scholarship are as follows:

  • Have at least a 3.0 GPA
  • Have engaged in leadership or community service activities during the past academic year

Students who meet these criteria are eligible for awards ranging from $500 – $2,500.  To apply for this scholarship you must submit a Leadership Assessment Form.
