Qualifying to Participate in a Commencement Ceremony
Once master’s students have applied for advanced standing in a degree program, a commencement eligibility analysis will be performed during each subsequent commencement period.
Master’s students qualify and will be cleared to participate in a commencement ceremony when:
All degree-applicable coursework has been completed
- When degree is completed at the end of Summer term or Fall term, or January Interterm, student will qualify and be cleared to participate in the Spring Commencement Ceremony.
A student is registered in all coursework that would complete the degree
- When a student is registered in all coursework that will complete the degree during Spring term, student will be cleared for the Spring Commencement Ceremony.
- La Verne Holds one commencement ceremony each year in Spring, usually at the end of May.
