Student Bar Association President Sajdah Bryant
Sajdah Bryant is a La Verne Law 3L Rising Star! As she enters her final year of law school, she’ll serve as Student Bar Association President. This bright star is looking forward to a high-powered career as a ‘Deal Lawyer’. An outstanding student and all around go-getter both in school and out, Sajdah shares words of wisdom for up-and-coming law students. “Learn to motivate yourself! If it’s reminding yourself that if you work hard for just three years you’ll have the career of your dreams, or pushing yourself through a three hour study session – one interval at a time, tell yourself whatever you need to hear to stay in the game! For the student that finishes first and the student that finishes last – they both leave as lawyers!”
While at La Verne, Sajdah interned for Judge Katrina West in San Bernardino Superior Court, summarizing appellate panel draft opinions, observing trials and other legal proceedings, and providing research and technical support. She recently landed a coveted Summer Associate position at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard and Smith in San Bernardino. In June, Sajdah participated as a guide for high school students interested in the legal profession on a trip to Connecticut with the Hispanic National Bar Association’s (HNBA) Legal Education Action Program (LEAP).
Sajdah was awarded the Joseph & Doleen Borba Endowed Scholarship, given annually to an outstanding female law student. And she recently was named a scholarship recipient by the Richard T. Fields Bar Association.
Student Bar Association President Sajdah is interested in becoming a transactional attorney, making and negotiating deals in the areas of business, real estate, and tax law. Look for this bright star on the not-too-distant horizon.
