Senior Selected for 2015 Radio Show Student Scholars Program

Senior Radio Broadcast major Megan Keller has been selected for the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) 2015 Radio Show Student Scholars Program in conjunction with Broadcast Education Association (BEA).

She will be awarded a registration scholarship to attend the 2015 Radio Show in Atlanta, September 30 – October 2, 2015, where she will be exposed to a series of special networking events, management, programming, marketing, sales, research, advertising, legal, and technical sessions that are part of the NAB Radio Show. The Radio Show Student Scholars Program is designed to encourage and prepare students for successful careers in Radio.

“I am very proud of Megan and her accomplishments and know that she will benefit greatly from attending the NAB Radio Show and participating in the Radio Show Student Scholars Program,” said Professor of Communications Mike Laponis.

Megan is the newly appointed Program Director for LeoFM Radio for the 2015-2016 academic year and currently works for AMP Radio (KAMP). She has previously worked for K-FROG Radio (KFRG) in San Bernardino.
