Alum Inducted Into Broadcaster’s Hall of Fame
University of La Verne alumna Monickie Addison-Scott was inducted Aug. 15 into the Nevada Broadcaster’s Hall of Fame.
Addison-Scott, who graduated La Verne in 1996, has served in the entertainment and media field more than 20 years. She worked behind the scenes on television shows such as The Young and the Restless, The Steve Harvey Show and the Price is Right. She held positions at CBS Television, Dick Clark Productions, KKBT-FM and more. As an account representative with Vegas PBS, she established relationships with local and national corporations, foundations and associations, among others.
Addison-Scott currently works as Senior Account Manager of the underwriting department for KCEP-FM 88.1, a Las Vegas public radio station. She produces KCEP’s Teen Talk Show, which gives teens of Las Vegas a voice in the community. She and her husband, Dana Scott, own the photography and videography business, MVP Photography.
