Tuition Deposit Deadline Extended

The University of La Verne is extending the tuition deposit deadline to May 15, 2024. This gives families additional time to review admissions and financial aid offers due to the delays around processing this year’s Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA. The U.S. Department of Education released an updated version of the FAFSA application late 2023, and announced last month that this would cause delays in student financial information until March.

The new tuition deposit deadline provides extra time from the traditional May 1, which is known as National Decision Day for colleges and universities across the United States. The University of La Verne is offering additional support and assistance in helping students understand their financial aid options. While the changes to FAFSA have altered deadlines, the process for financial aid applicants is meant to be simpler and should provide additional funding for lower- and moderate-income families.

To take advantage of the extended tuition deadline, traditional undergraduate applicants should apply at laverne.edu/apply. Admitted students can use their application portal to submit their tuition deposit at admissions.laverne.edu/apply.
