Event brings students, faculty, and staff together to honor a cherished Mexican holiday tradition
University of La Verne President Risa Dickson joined students, faculty and staff for a holiday tamaliada at The Spot Dining Hall. “A tamaliada is an opportunity for family and friends to come together and prepare tamales,” said Juan Regalado, dean of students, who described the festive Mexican tradition. “It is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate community and culture, especially around the holidays.”
