After SOAR (Fall admits) or your academic advising appointment (Spring admits), but before the semester begins, print out your class schedule from the La Verne Portal and check it for accuracy.
If any adjustments need to be made to your registration, you must make the changes by the deadline noted on the academic calendar (usually within the first week of the semester).
If you have decided not to attend the University of La Verne then you must drop your classes (see the academic calendar for deadlines to drop or withdraw from course). Unlike some institutions, the University of La Verne does not drop you from your classes if you do not attend. Your name will still show on class rosters and you will be liable for full tuition for any classes you are registered for, even if you never attend them.
Although you may appeal to retroactively drop or withdraw from classes, we recommend you avoid all this by abiding to published university deadlines to drop or withdraw (which might have financial consequences depending on the date of the transaction, including any fees that are associated with the appeal process).
