The University of La Verne has multiple spaces that can be used for reflection, prayer, meditation, or worship:
- Sacred Space
The Sacred Space located in the Ludwick Center for Spirituality, Cultural Understanding, and Community Engagement is the largest space and can be used for individual reflection, prayer, meditation, or group services. Sacred Space Reservation Request Form - Yoga/Quiet Room
This room is located on the first floor of the Ludwick Center. This room is used for group spiritual practices like meditation and yoga, as well as for small group meetings, scripture study, and community conversations. This room has meditation cushions and yoga mats available. The room also has folding chairs in a storage closet that can be set up for small group gatherings. - Prayer and Meditation Room
This room is located on the first floor of the Ludwick Center. It can be used for individual reflection, prayer, meditation, and contemplation. There are meditation cushions, prayer rugs, and sacred texts for anybody to use. The room is located next to restrooms with ablution stations for washing before prayer. - Meditation Gardens and Reflecting Pool
Located on the grounds of the Ludwick Center. These outside areas are available for quiet reflection. - Campus Center Prayer and Meditation Room
The Prayer and Meditation Room is located on the 2nd floor of the Campus Center and is available from 8 am-12 am for prayer and meditation
