Golf Tournament Raises $127,000 For Scholarships

The University of La Verne hosted its annual Golf Tournament on Sept. 9 at Red Hill Country Club in Rancho Cucamonga, where $127,000 was raised for student scholarships, academic programs, and athletic support.

Over the past 20 years, the University of La Verne’s Golf Tournament has helped to raise more than $1 million for student scholarships and campus programs. It also brings together alumni, faculty, and staff in support of La Verne and its students.

On the green this year were 120 golfers, including Sherri Mylott, vice president for University Advancement; Wendy Lau, ’98, trustee and senior counselor; Ann Quay Davis, trustee; and Reggie Webb, trustee.
