Celebrating HSI’s, Hispanic Heritage

At the University of La Verne, the commitment to supporting Hispanic students is not just an initiative—it’s a mission woven into the university’s teaching, research, and public service. As a proud Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSI), ULV is dedicated to building a thriving diverse campus community, ensuring that all students are supported and empowered to succeed.

In 2002, ULV became eligible as an HSI, enrolling 26% of Hispanic undergraduate students. Today, more than 54% of students identify as  Hispanic or Latino.

The University is celebrating HSI Week and Hispanic Heritage Month by highlighting educational opportunities, student voices, faculty research, and alumni reflections across the campus.
