The University of La Verne, a Military Friendly award recipient for ten consecutive years, has a proud tradition of providing a supportive educational environment for veterans, service members who are active duty and Reserve, National Guard and military-connected registered domestic partners and dependents.

Whether studying at the central campus in La Verne, at one of our regional campuses (including Naval Base Ventura County and Vandenberg Air Force Base), or through La Verne Online, there are dedicated staff, knowledgeable academic advisors, and university certifying officials to help coordinate VA and DOD programs with university policies and procedures.

The Sara and Michael Abraham Center for Veteran Student Success (ACVSS) provides assistance with VA and university paperwork, access to tutoring, computers, printing, and on and off campus resources. ACVSS promotes veteran community, engagement, assistance and advocacy for successful educational experiences and outcomes.

Tuition Assistance

The university is pleased to offer a military rate in line with Tuition Assistance to active duty members, registered domestic partners, and qualified dependents. To learn more, this link, offers a detailed explanation of the policy, tuition and fees for this program.
