University of La Verne ranked 2024 Best U.S. College in Wall Street Journal/College Pulse

The University of La Verne has been ranked #33 in the nation within the 2024 Best U.S. College distinction in the Wall Street Journal & College Pulse rankings.

Out of 400 institutions, the university was scored as the fifth-highest ranking private and California university on the list. The university was recognized as one of 16 private California universities in the entire report and is among the top 15 schools for student experience and social mobility, according to results released this month. 

This year’s ranking survey, created by Wall Street Journal in collaboration with College Pulse and Statista, focused overall scores on learning opportunities, preparations for careers, and learning facilities.

“This is an incredible honor for the University during a time when the value of an education is being debated nationally,” said University of La Verne President Pardis Mahdavi. Such a prestigious recognition is a testament to the quality education and learning experiences of students as well as the tremendous commitment and dedication of our faculty, staff, and University community to help students succeed.”  

In 2018, The University of La Verne received high marks for diversity and inclusivity and was among the Top 100 Universities in the West in the then Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education rankings.
