Due to the rapid spread of the disease, the University of La Verne Coronavirus Monitoring Committee and university administrators have recommended that we take enhanced measures to ensure the safety of our campus communities, support the effective operation of the university, and contribute to managing this global pandemic.

Jarrett, an advisor to President Obama, gave a talk and signed books in the university’s newly-opened Ludwick Center for Spirituality, Cultural Understanding, and Community Engagement as a fundraiser for YWCA of San Gabriel Valley.
Dan Jerz and Christopher Norman took first place in the comedy or drama category of the association’s Festival of Media Arts student competition. William Hernandez won an award of excellence in the specialty show category.
The gift will support upgraded facilities, state-of-the-art equipment, and additional faculty in the newly-named Nathan Chow Program of Film and Television.
Briana Benson won best oralist, and the team of Briana Benson and Sara Martinez won best respondent brief. Marcus King and Latosha Payne won best petitioner brief, as well as best overall brief.
