Associate Degree for Transfer

University of La Verne’s Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT) Pathway Majors

The University of La Verne’s ADT Pathway Majors help students to graduate within 2-years–with continuous, on-time enrollment and meeting all academic and financial obligations–to all new transfer students who earn an Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT) from a California Community College.  The ADT streamlines the path to graduation by clearly outlining specific major and university-required courses in easy to understand plans.

Our ADT Pathway Plans are built into our student degree audit, MyDegree Tracker, which integrates seamlessly with our degree audit.

SHOULD YOU TRANSFER IN FALL OR SPRING? YOU CHOOSE, WE’RE READY FOR YOU!

Many of our ADT Pathway Majors offer fall and spring semester start options, facilitating your ability to choose the best time to transfer to the University of La Verne without unreasonable delay!

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

The University Registrar must verify that you have completed an Associate of Arts for Transfer (AA-T) or Associate of Science for Transfer (AS-T) from an affiliated California Community College.  Upon verification of earning an AA-T or AS-T in an approved ADT Pathways Major, the student meets with an academic advisor to follow the ADT-approved Pathways Major.

Please note that an Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT) is different from other associate degrees from California Community Colleges.
