CARES Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund Reporting Information

The Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act, otherwise known as the CARES Act was passed by both chambers of Congress as H.B.748, and signed by President Trump into law on March 27, 2020. The purpose of the passage of the CARES Act was to provide fast and direct economic assistance for American workers, families, and business, because of the economic impact resulting from the Coronavirus pandemic. Section 18004 of the CARES Act addresses stimulus funds specifically for colleges and universities and is known as the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund, or HEERF. The University of La Verne was granted three of these HEERF awards from the US Department of Education. Please select the link below to be directed to reporting specifically for these awards:
