External Researchers/External Mentors

External researchers and mentors access IRBManager by clicking the logo: 

 

External researchers who are on a project with a La Verne researcher,
please click on the “Click here to register” link.  The La Verne researcher can then add you as an investigator to their study.

External researchers who are not working on a project with a La Verne researcher, please connect with a La Verne faculty member, in the area you wish to research, to sponsor your study.  Then, click on the “Click here to register” link to start your application.

External Advisor/Mentor/Chair, please click on the “Click here to register” link.  Your student can then add you as an investigator to their study. You only need to do this one time.

Note: if someone other than the Principal Investigator is inputting the application, the Principal Investigator needs to be added on as a collaborator to see the application.  Further, Co-Investigators will need the same courtesy.  To add a collaborator, please follow our instructions on Adding Overseeing Personnel.

Addressing Revisions for Initial La Verne IRB Application

NOTE: If applicants wait more than six months to submit revisions, they will be required to submit a new application in IRBManager and undergo a new review. The outcome may change with the new review, necessitating more revisions from the applicant.
