IRB Hours, Months of Operation, Holidays, and Office Hours

Monday – Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. We work remotely outside of office hours, so we do not answer the phone outside of office hours. However, we do respond to voicemail regularly and even quicker to email.

The IRB operates regularly February – May and September – December.  In January, June, July, and August the IRB operates unofficially with no regularly scheduled hours or meetings. While we will make every effort to review applications and respond to emails, delays will occur during unofficial months. Moreover, meetings for standard reviews are extremely limited. More information about the standard review schedule can be found here.

The IRB observes all university holidays and is not in operation, expected to review applications during those times, or respond to emails and calls. Moreover, the IRB goes dark with the university at the end of December – early January.

The IRB office hours are by appointment only. During these appointments we will meet with applicants and answer calls. We are limited as to what we can do, so please review what we will and will not be able to help you with prior to attending office hours.

Notice:

The IRB will have limited service due to staff shortages between August 1st – 6th. As a result, applications may be delayed. We will get to your emails and applications as soon as possible. Thank you.
